A Good Return gift card gives the recipient the chance to lend to a woman entrepreneur and make a difference to their life. The loan could be to help repair a leaky roof, add stock to her shop or buy new seeds for her farm. Once the loan is repaid, they can choose to withdraw their money, to re-lend to another entrepreneur, or donate to our education programs and make an even bigger impact!

A loan can change the life of a woman in our region
Recently our team in Cambodia met with some of our microloan recipients. The energy of one particular woman, Sochea, really made a lasting impression. Our Program Officer Arunremfa told us:
“Sochea never slows down! She runs a grocery store out the front of her house, and in her spare time she mends second hand clothes to resell at the market. As a newly married woman, she cares for her small son and her in-laws. With a new factory opening down the road, Sochea is adding a third enterprise to her busy life - selling snacks to the factory workers.”
A loan via our local partner was crucial to helping Sochea achieve her goals. Women like Sochea remind us at Good Return why we come to work every day. We believe Sochea deserves to build her business dreams, and we know her family relies on her for their livelihood and survival.
How the Good Return Gift Card works
Buy a Good Return Gift Card for your friend or relative - they are now a Good Return lender. The gift card can be sent electronically to you or the recipient.
The lender visits the Good Return website where they can choose an entrepreneur to lend the value of their gift card to.
Once their chosen entrepreneur repays the loan*, the lender has the opportunity to re-lend to help another entrepreneur. Alternatively they can choose to donate the money to our financial education programs after the loan is repaid, going on to help many more people. *Loan terms are for 12 months.
Terms and conditions
Gift card receipts are issued when a card is redeemed, not when they are purchased. We do not have details of end recipients. Therefore only when it is redeemed will our receipt reflect the choice of the recipient. If the card is not redeemed within 12 weeks we will allocate the funds ourselves and issue a donated loan receipt to the purchaser.
